Relay For Life is a fun-filled, overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives, help those who have been touched by cancer, and empower individuals to fight back against the disease. During the event, teams of people gather at Conestoga Valley High School and take turns walking or running laps around the track. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times. Please join us for the 2010 Relay For Life of Lancaster and help us reach our goal of raising $800,000!

NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS |
- Save Your Quarters!
- We would like to line the Conestoga Valley High School track at Relay with Quarters. So we are asking you, our Relay participants, to save your quarters and bring them to Relay. We will start by lining the inside edge of the track (so no one trips on them) and see how far we can go. We are hoping to surround the entire track with quarters. If we make it all the way around, we will start again. START SAVING THOSE QUARTERS AND HELP US FIGHT CANCER!
- Does your Relay team have a unique or interesting story to tell? Would you like to be featured in an upcoming newsletter?
- If so, please contact Karen Morrisette by email at the following address and let her know that you are interested in being interviewed: k.cassidy1@comcast.net
- Email her your name, team name and your phone number, and she will be in contact with you.
- Captain Morgan’s Cadets, a youth team whose captain is 6 years old, are putting out a challenge to all Relay teams to form a Youth Team for the 2010 Relay For Life of Lancaster.
- A special lap on Saturday will highlight those youth teams and their endeavors to wage war against cancer. Contact the local ACS office at 397-3745 for more information and to register a youth team.
- Have you heard about the new Relay For Life License Plates?
